Workshops vary in length from 60 min. to 2 hours and focus on specific tasks. These sessions are efficient and targeted lessons so you and your staff get the training you need, spend less time away from projects and apply what you've learned right away. If this workshop is being conducted as a class for your company, we will use your standards and project data to ensure the training is immediately relevant and applicable.

Annotation Scaling AutoCAD has the ability to automatically resize annotation so it adjusts to the correct scale when plotted. Learn how to take advantage of this tool for easily controlling the appearance of text, dimensions, blocks, and hatches. 60 min.
Dynamic Blocks A dynamic block is one which contains multiple variations of the graphics within one block.  Learn how to convert your existing blocks in dynamic blocks for changing sizes and for swapping from one graphic to another. 60 min.

Curtain Walls and Window Assemblies Learn how to use curtain custom curtain walls and window assemblies. We’ll learn how to control mullion spacing, create custom mullions and incorporate doors, operable windows, and spandrels into your design. 90 min.

Creating Custom Schedules Learn how to create and customize your own building component schedule. We will show you how to create a new schedule from scratch including adding columns, creating headers, and controlling fonts and linework. This will allow you to manage the appearance of the schedule on the sheet as well as give you the ability to sort, group and filter your data. We will also cover creating and tracking custom information. 60 min.
Wall Construction Learn how to create your own wall types and how the wall layers will affect wall joins in the model. Create both basic and stacked wall types.  Learn how to modify walls by adding sweeps and reveals to the types. 60 min.
Introducion to Custom Families Introduction and overview of the family editor. Learn how to create your own component families from the proper template including 3D and 2D geometry and multiple types within the family, the difference between model objects and symbolic objects, and adding parametric dimensional controls. 90 min.
Introduction to Stairs/Railings Learn how to use the basic stair and railing tools including how to make commonly needed adjustments and creating custom stair and railing types. 90 min.
Introduction to Curtain Walls Learn how to use curtain wall types using rules-based spacing, mullions, and panels. We’ll show you how to embed a curtain wall into a wall, how to create a custom curtain wall with manually placed grid lines, how to create new mullion sizes and panel types, how to manipulate grid lines to combine or split panels, and how to insert doors, operable windows, and spandrels. 90 min.
Introduction to Detailing Learn how to produce construction details in Revit.  We’ll discuss the two approaches to detailing, model based details and drafting.  We’ll learn how to create custom line types, hatches and how to access and use components in the detail library.  We’ll also review how to incorporate your CADD details 90 min.
Phasing Phasing is the tool that you need to use to control graphics for a renovation or multi-phased project.  You’ll learn how add\remove phases and how to apply a “timeline” to building geometry and viewports and how to control the graphic appearance of each object 60 min.
Design Options Looking to explore multiple schemes.  We’ll show you how to use “design options” feature of Revit.  You’ll learn how to organize your model to control what is an option and what is unchanging.  Learn how to create additional schemes at any time, how to plot multiple schemes at the same time and how to move 60 min.

Linking Revit & CADD Files Learn how to link other Revit Files and CADD files.  We'll review procedures for linking files, how to load, unload, reload files, how to control visibility of contents of linked files and discuss related best practices. TBD
